Making memories.

We recently met a stoneware artisan who offered to make a plate with Evie's hand and footprints. She was mildly bemused by the whole situation. This workshop employs only local teenagers who might otherwise be unemployable- their chief designer only has one arm, and a girl who works in the sanding area of the shop was badly burned and disfigured as a child. Unfortunately that is enough to condemn many to a life of begging here. Evie charmed them all.
